Round table entitled "AI in Global Risk Management" in the XXIX edition of the MAPFRE Global Risks International Conference

Pablo García Mexía has participated on June 6 in the round table entitled "AI in Global Risk Management". in the XXIX edition of the MAPFRE Global Risks International Conference, which was held in the city of Malaga between June 5 and 7, 2024. He discussed the indisputable paradigm shift brought about by AI, which  Pablo García Mexía described as "the biggest disruptive factor in Europe since the Second World War," which alters the foundations of the social contract. This legal expert, who listed the significant risks involved in its implementation (from environmental or security risks to discrimination due to bias with an impact on inequality), made an edifying analysis of current regulations and admitted that the positive potential of this technology is enormous.
